Don't hang white laundry at night: a village proverb.

Unless you want a chance to see cool bugs in the morning, of course.

A hummingbird moth caterpillar on the white side of a sun shade. Not quite laundry, but the underside is a soft white that attracts the night bugs. It's the season for rhinoceros beetles, hummingbird moths, and large june beetles. These three give off an intimidating, low buzz when they fly that sounds similar to giant hornets.

But they're harmless. The sun shade is shielding the black soldier fly tub.

A quick look at the BSF tub. It's been consistently over 30 degrees C, which is just about the limit for BSF. Keeping any direct sun from hitting the tub should keep them comfortable.
